DesignerCookies: The Fruit Platter

About Me

Alyson Carter grew up in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Her love of baking started when she was a little girl. One Christmas, when she was nine years old, Alyson's grandmother gave her a spiral-bound notebook and a child-sized apron. The notebook contained a single recipe for gingersnap cookies, written in her grandma's tidy handwriting. The recipe was a cookie-jar favourite when Alyson visited Grandma's house.

Since then, the notebook has grown in recipes and memories. One of those recipes is Alyson's sugar cookie creation, fine-tuned over the years with multiple bake-sale fundraisers at high school and university.

DesignerCookies encompasses Alyson's flare for fashion and design, and is a natural extension of her outgoing personality.
